Dispatch Rider

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Dispatch Rider to support our logistics and operational activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and secure delivery and pick-up of drugs, documents, claims, medical reports, membership cards, and other essential items to and from hospitals, clients, agents, and corporate partners.


Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and safe delivery of drugs, documents, medical claims, health insurance cards, and other parcels to designated locations.

• Collect documents and medical reports from hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers.

• Liaise with hospitals, partner organizations, clients, and internal departments professionally and courteously.

• Ensure proper documentation of items delivered and received, including obtaining recipient signatures.

• Perform daily vehicle (motorcycle) inspections and report any issues promptly.

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.

• Comply with all traffic and company safety regulations.

• Provide support in emergencies, such as urgent hospital visits or claims document retrieval.


Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE/HND.

• Valid rider’s license.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dispatch rider, preferably in the healthcare or insurance sector.

• Good knowledge of Accra and traffic regulations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Professional and courteous attitude.

• Basic knowledge of healthcare/insurance documentation is an added advantage.


Working Conditions:

• Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend duties as needed.

• Outdoor work with exposure to varying weather conditions.

• Must be physically fit and able to ride for extended periods.
