Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, efficient service, and a motivated team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational, customer service, and team management skills, and a deep understanding of restaurant operations from front-of-house service to back-of-house coordination.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage front-of-house staff.

  • Foster a positive work environment through leadership, motivation, and team development.

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Monitor dining area for cleanliness, ambiance, and proper service flow.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service and high food quality.

  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.

  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure cost-efficiency.

  • Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control initiatives.

  • Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures.

  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality products.

  • Drive revenue by identifying opportunities for promotions, events, and service improvements.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • In-depth understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and staff management.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, labour laws, and hospitality best practices.

  • Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and basic financial reporting.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Exceptional problem-solving, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or business is a plus.
