Business Intelligence Intern (BI)

Job Summary

Business intelligence intern provides analytic support via hands-on Excel work while leveraging other tools as necessary (SQL, Python, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Tableau).

  • Minimum Qualification : Degree

  • Experience Level : Internship & Graduate

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Support, improvising, analysis and insights as required.

  • Provide ad-hoc support relating to data extraction and reporting.

  • AssistinCRMfunctionalityasfarasitpertainstodatagathering,reporting, and CRM process optimization.

  • Work with BI Analyst to understand CRM process and data capture


 Requirements:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential leads and target customers.

  • Assist in developing and executing out bound prospecting strategies to generate new business opportunities.

  • Research and identify potential clients through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.

  • Qualifyleadsbasedonpredefinedcriteriaandensureaccuratedataentryin the CRM system.

  • Schedulemeetingsanddemoswithqualifiedleadsforoursalesexecutives.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead-generation efforts and improve overall sales effectiveness.

  • Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation activities and results.


 Pipeline and Data base Management:

  • Maintainaccurateandup-to-daterecordsofallprospectinteractionsinthe CRM (Zoho) system.

  • Collaboratewiththesalesteamandmanagerstotransitionqualifiedleads and facilitate seamless hand offs.


Technical:

  • Familiarity with SQL basics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM software(e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

  • Work closely with the BI central team to understand data model sand code definitions.

  • Contribute to data clean sing and mining, and highlight anomalies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is an advantage but not required.

 Your Profile:

  •  A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

  •  You are passionate about data and its impact on the real world.

  • You are eager to learn about data analytics and insight generation.

  • You have an interest in data extraction, cleansing, and transformation processes.

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and goal-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets.

  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Zoho) is a plus.


Added advantage:

  •  Prior experience in report writing, data analysis, or statistical interpretation

  • Knowledge of Power BI.

  • Knowledge of the HR consulting industry or HR-related services is advantageous
