Our Mission

Our mission is to build the capacity of youth in Ghana through education and hands-on experience in designing and carrying out community development projects. We empower youth to be change-makers for a brighter future that starts today.

Our US office is in Norristown, PA, and our headquarters in Ghana is in Ho, the capital of the Volta Region. Pagus Africa empowers young people in Ghana’s Volta Region through education, leadership, and community development. Our students are becoming Change Makers—leaders and mentors who uplift their peers and transform their communities.

Role Description

We’re looking for a volunteer to help us share these inspiring stories on social media. You’ll work with our team to post, schedule, and engage with our community online.

Responsibilities

•  Schedule 2–3 weekly posts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn using provided content

•  Create engaging captions and hashtags to reach new audiences. You will utilize photos and can follow a general format (see examples at Instagram, LinkedIn, or Facebook on our pagusafrica page.)

•  Monitor comments and thank supporters

•  Suggest fresh, interactive ideas (polls, questions, etc.)

  
  

Skills Needed

•  Familiar with social media platforms (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or similar a plus)

•  Creative, reliable, and able to communicate clearly
