Job Summary
The HR Officer will be responsible for the HR functions of an organization by ensuring efficient HR processes, payroll management, compliance with labour laws, and a positive workplace culture

Job Description/Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
Creating and updating job descriptions in consultation with department managers.
Reviewing resumes, conducting initial interviews and shortlisting candidates.
Coordinate interview schedules and participate in interviews as needed.
Onboarding New Employees: Facilitate orientation programs and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed.
Encouraging a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and respect within the organization.
Maintaining and updating the HR database and ensuring data accuracy.
Addressing Employee Concerns: Serve as a point of contact for employee issues and grievances.
Conducting Disciplinary Actions: Assist in or lead disciplinary processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and labour laws.
Facilitating Communication: Promote open communication between management and employees to foster a positive work environment.
Conflict Resolution: Mediate disputes and conflicts within the workplace.
Skills and Qualification
Must have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years working experience in a similar role
HR Management, HR Policies, and Human Resources (HR) skills
Experience in Employee Relations and Job Description Development
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of labour laws and regulations
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
NB: Previous experience at a mining company would be an added advantage
