Job Summary
The Technical Sales Officer (Procurement) plays a critical role in driving sales through effective procurement strategies and technical expertise. This role involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing technical products or services to meet the needs of clients while ensuring quality and cost- effectiveness. The Technical Sales Officer collaborates closely with sales teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver tailored solutions and achieve sales targets.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with sales objectives and customer requirements.
Identify reliable suppliers and vendors for technical products or services through market research and evaluation.
Source and evaluate technical products or services from potential suppliers, considering factors such as quality, cost, and delivery time.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements and maximize profitability.
Develop a deep understanding of technical products or services offered by the company and competitors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and addressing any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Candidate should be a Procurement person with an engineering background.
2 – 3 years working experience post-graduation (KNUST)
Proven experience in technical sales, procurement, or a related role.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
