Job Summary

The services of a Production Supervisor is needed for immediate employment as the individual would oversee routine production activities, troubleshooting and solving issues that arise on a production floor and ensuring a safe and clean production workspace.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements

• Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance

• Informing a production team of preferred occupational health and safety practices

• Excellent organizational skills to plan production schedules and ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment

• Communicating expectations to production team members and evaluating their performance

• Compiling reports about production and providing management with updates

• Good time-management skills to minimize downtime and ensure a team works efficiently

• Ensuring all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant IFS policies.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather information and support audit activities.

• The ability to cope with pressure and make sound decisions quickly

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: a Bachelor's degree in BSc. Biochemistry or Food Science.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with exposure, is preferred.

• Personal attributes: high level of integrity, strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
