Job Overview

Mansu is seeking a dedicated Executive Assistant to be based in Accra full-time. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing platinum support to our Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This dynamic role requires an individual who is a self-starter, combining top-tier personal assistance with a focus on relationship management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a versatile role, effectively supporting the COO/CEO while driving business success in the FX market.

 

Location

The office is based in Accra, Ghana.

 

As an EA to the COO/CEO, you are responsible for/required to;

  • Managing, coordinating, and maintaining the COO/CEO’s calendar.

  • Responsible for organizing internal and external meetings on behalf of the COO/CEO and ensuring all requirements are met.

  • Provide proactive/all-encompassing administrative support to the COO/CEO.

  • Be their primary point of contact for all daily administrative needs.

  • Works closely and effectively with the COO/CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.

  • Research and collate information in respect of reports, presentations, etc.

  • Coordinate all meetings as required, across multiple time zones when required.

  • Book venue, set up electronic equipment (laptops, LCD screens, etc.), and book hospitality.

  • Transcribe or create memos, letters, minutes, file notes, agendas, schedules, etc, and issue in a timely fashion.

  • To operate within the relevant country's data protection legislation.

  • Act as a gatekeeper in relation to external meeting requests and internal requirements

  • Steering and coordinating strategic projects, initiatives, and workstreams.

  • Preparing reports, memos, invoices, letters, and other documents.

  • Drafting and circulating meeting agendas, preparing minutes, communicating meeting reminders, confirming venues, and arranging refreshments.

  • Following up with Line Managers on earlier conversations had and key action points

  • Attending and actively participating in team and company meetings

  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

  • Provide updates and feedback on previous tasks

  • Share the calendar for the day and send reminders every 30 mins and 10 mins

  • Handle personal needs if required, and any other tasks that may be assigned

 

Minimum Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2 years of proven experience in the relevant field.

  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.

  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills

  • Professional-level verbal and written communications skills.

  • Information gathering and information monitoring.

  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Well organized with an understanding of priorities and changing demands.

  • Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Positive attitude, patience, and a strong sense of empathy.

  • A self-starter who is career-driven and motivated. 

  • Superb presentation and communication skills with the ability to persuade.

  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and navigate complexity.

  • Proficiency in G-Suite
