Business Development Executive
Position Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities for Dronehub’s products and services portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills who can drive revenue growth through client acquisition and partnership development.

● Reports to: Business Development Lead
● Matrix Relationships: Marketing & Sales Team, Technical Teams
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets and industry verticals
● Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects
● Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the drone services and sales industry
● Generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, digital marketing, and industry events
● Qualify prospects and assess their drone service requirements
● Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients ● Negotiate contracts and close deals within established parameters
● Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Client Relationship Management
● Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations
● Understand client business objectives and align drone products and service offerings accordingly
● Coordinate to ensure smooth client onboarding
● Maintain regular communication with prospects throughout the sales cycle ● Gather client feedback and market intelligence to inform product and service development
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis
● Develop and execute territory-specific business development plans ● Analyze competitor activities and market positioning
● Identify new service opportunities based on market demands
● Contribute to pricing strategies and service packaging
● Participate in strategic planning sessions and provide market insights ● Monitor industry trends and technological developments
Partnership Development
● Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships
● Develop relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, and consultants ● Negotiate partnership agreements and collaboration frameworks
● Manage partner relationships and joint go-to-market activities
Internal Collaboration
● Work closely with technical teams to understand service capabilities and limitations ● Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and materials ● Provide input on service development and enhancement initiatives ● Support proposal writing and RFP responses
● Participate in client presentations alongside technical experts
Qualifications and Experience
● Minimum of First Degree in Business Administration and related field ● Background in French will be an added advantage.
● Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar role
