About the Role:
Action Chapel International is seeking a Performance & Staff Manager to oversee its Transport Department. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, staff accountability, and fleet reliability. The successful candidate will supervise drivers, evaluate performance, enforce compliance with safety standards, and implement strategies to maximize efficiency in scheduling, fuel management, and vehicle utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and evaluate the daily activities of drivers and transport staff.
- Oversee vehicle condition, safety compliance, and maintenance schedules.
- Monitor fuel usage and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Conduct unannounced checks to ensure adherence to duty rosters and protocols.
- Lead projects to improve transport operations (e.g., GPS tracking, scheduling systems).
- Maintain accurate transport records and provide regular reports to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in transport operations, fleet management, or staff supervision.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and transport regulations.
- Proven leadership and performance management skills.
- Excellent organizational and reporting abilities.
