Job Summary

Working as part of a growing African team, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate projects across cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. This role involves working closely with the offensive, information security, SOC and digital forensics teams to plan, execute, and oversee projects from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing risks and achieving project objectives.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget; set project goals and milestones.

  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals, resources, and timelines.

  • Technical Oversight: Work closely with the technical teams to understand technical requirements, provide input on technical decisions, and ensure project feasibility.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; proactively address potential bottlenecks and develop contingency plans.

  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and ensure high standards in all phases of the project lifecycle; ensure that deliverables meet requirements and quality standards.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, manage expectations, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving project management processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

  • 5+ yrs. Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within a technical or engineering-focused environment.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

  • Familiarity with technical concepts, especially related to offensive security, information security, SOC and digital forensics.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
