Role Description
This is an on-site contract role for a Certified Heavy-Duty Truck Driver Trainer located in Tema. The trainer will be responsible for instructing and mentoring drivers on the proper operation of heavy-duty trucks. Daily tasks include providing hands-on training, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, supervising truck loading and unloading processes, and offering guidance on safety best practices. The role also includes evaluating driver performance, addressing skill gaps, and delivering feedback to ensure professional growth and adherence to operational standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency with DVLA Truck Driver Trainer license and expertise in Truck Driving
Experience with Truck operation and ability to oversee safe Unloading procedures
Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
Strong communication and teaching skills to effectively mentor and train drivers
Familiarity with heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and operational troubleshooting is a plus
Ability to work on-site in Tema and maintain a safety-first approach
