Subject teacher, Facilitator(Hybrid)

Position Overview:

We are seeking passionate and experienced subject teachers and facilitators to deliver engaging, inclusive, and high-quality education to students. 


The following subject teachers are needed: 

1. Math and Physics

2. Social Studies, History, and Government

3. ICT

4. Combined Science 


Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of differentiated instruction and the ability to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities 


Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Delivery:

 • Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum for respective age groups and ability levels.

 • Utilize teaching materials and methods suitable for the subject (e.g., practicals, discussions, visual aids, digital resources).

 • Adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of SEN students and ensure accessibility to learning.


2. Assessment and Evaluation:

 • Regularly assess students’ performance using formal and informal methods.

 • Provide timely feedback to students and parents to monitor academic progress and identify areas of improvement.

 • Create and maintain records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.


3. Differentiation and Inclusion:

 • Use individualized learning plans to address the needs of special needs students and home-schooled learners.

 • Modify instructional strategies, materials, and pacing to accommodate learning differences and disabilities.

 • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued.


4. Collaboration and Support:

 • Collaborate with parents, SEN coordinators, therapists, and other teachers to develop comprehensive student support strategies.

 • Work closely with families for home-schooling arrangements, tailoring lessons to suit their expectations and child’s pace.

 • Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development alongside academics.


5. Classroom and Behavior Management:

 • Establish clear rules and routines to maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.

 • Employ behavior management strategies suitable for various needs, including children with learning or behavioral challenges.


6. Professional Development:

 • Engage in regular professional development to stay updated with educational best practices and advancements.

 • Stay informed about innovative techniques for SEN education, blended learning, and virtual/home schooling methods.


7. Use of Technology:

 • Incorporate appropriate technology-based tools and platforms to enhance learning.

 • Assist students with assistive technologies, where necessary, to overcome learning barriers.


Requirements:

 • Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, the specific subject area, or a related field. Additional certifications in Special Education or SEN are preferred.

 • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years teaching experience, with experience in home-schooling or teaching children with special needs considered an asset.


 Skills:

 • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 • Ability to differentiate instruction and manage multi-level classrooms.

 • Familiarity with assistive technologies and inclusive teaching methods.

 • Organizational and time-management skills.

 • Personal Attributes:

 • Patience, empathy, and adaptability to individual student needs.

 • Passionate about inclusive education and student development.

 • Team player with a commitment to continuous improvement.
