Operations Manager

Job Summary

Our client (a reputable hair and beauty salon) is in search of an Operations Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the salon’s operations. As an Operations manager, you are expected to liaise and build strategies for growth with the management, improve performance, procure material and resources and ensure compliance, find ways to increase company visibility, implement best practices across all levels and identify ways to increase salon revenue.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service

  • Manage staff and all the activities of the studio

  • Resolve staff and client disputes

  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures

  • Maintain outstanding store condition and merchandising standards

  • Following up with client orders to ensure they are delivered to clients promptly

  • Ensure that the production of all products is in line with company standards

  • Managing the production of pieces and ensuring that all pieces are produced timely

  • Deliver the highest level of professional service to the customer

  • Maintaining a fully stocked store

  • Recommending and displaying items that match customer needs

  • Managing point-of-sale processes

  • Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments

  • Keeping up to date with product information

  • Accurately describe product features and benefits

  • Following all company policies and procedures

  • Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment

  • Manage relationships with key operations vendors, track vendor pricing and service levels

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulation

  • Proficiency in Excel

  • Excellent time management, project organization, and follow-through skills.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of experience in Management or other related fields


Location: East Legon, Accra Ghana

Working Hours: Monday - Saturdays (9 AM- 7 PM)

Salary : 3000 GHC - 3500 GHC

Availability to start: As soon as possible
