Support Teachers / Vocational Teachers
Job Summary
The New Horizon Special School in Accra is looking for Support teachers or Vocational teachers to work with our students in a classroom or crafting workshop. The preferred candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Minimum Qualification : High School (S.S.C.E)
Experience Level : Entry level
Experience Length : 2 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are:
Support teacher will assist the class teacher to teach the students, and do any other tasks under the guidance of the class teacher.
Vocational teacher will work with our students in a crafting workshop.
Requirements:
Support and vocational teachers should have WASSCE OR NVTI
For supporting teachers, experience in teaching or taking care of a special needs child is a plus.
For vocational teachers, experience in areas such as beading, basketry, batik or tye and die is a plus.
