Job Summary: Mezzo Maths TutorRole Overview
As a Mezzo Maths Tutor, you will play a vital role in inspiring and equipping primary and junior high school students with strong mathematical skills and confidence. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned tutorials that support our academic programs, including the Mezzo Maths Interschools Quiz. This position involves both group coaching and individualized support to help students achieve their full potential in mathematics.

Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging maths lessons aligned with both the GES and Cambridge curricula for upper primary and junior high school.
Prepare students effectively for the Mezzo Maths Interschools Quiz and other local or international maths competitions through structured tutoring and regular practice sessions.
Assesstudents’ progress regularly using quizzes, formative assessments, and feedback tools, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with curriculum developers and event coordinators to create and refine training materials and learning resources.
Support a positive learning environment by promoting discipline, enthusiasm for maths, and a growth mindset among learners.
Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and the Mezzo Maths team to report progress, challenges, and student needs.
Participate in planning meetings, training workshops, and team reviews to continuously improve the quality and impact of tutoring services.
Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards, ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere for all students. Qualifications
Diploma / HND/ Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a maths related field. (A background in mathematics education is highly p
ng command of the GES and Cambridge maths curricula for basic education.At l
east 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at the primary or junior high level.Exce
llent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and accessibly.Demo
