Job Summary

GIZ Ghana contracted SIA 360 LTD to manage the recruitment of enumerators and supervise the digital data collection on the Cocoa Sector Child Labour Monitoring System covering 10,000 plots. As part of this work, SIA 360 seeks to hire 50 local enumerators to collect field data in Assin Fosu and its environs. The enumerators will be responsible for the following activities:

• Minimum Qualification : Degree

• Experience Level : Entry level

• Experience Length : 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Participate in field data collection sensitization and hands-on practical meetings

• Participate in 5 days of training, field testing of the questionnaire, and review pilot testing

• Conduct face-to-face interviews with cocoa farmers, their households, and caretakers using a digitally structured questionnaire

• Accurately capture responses using digital data collection tools such as a mobile app

• Responsible for data quality, integrity, and confidentiality

• Provide daily progress reports to the field supervisor

Qualification:

• Holder of a bachelor's degree or higher qualification

• Experience in agriculture, especially cocoa farmer data collection, and/or social rural development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluency in English and exceptional proficiency in Twi and other dialects

• Familiar with the cocoa sector, especially in Assin Fosu terrain and other nearby communities and villages

• Ability to use and work with digital tools (tablets and mobile devices)

This field assignment is envisaged to be executed between January and February 2025.
