This individual will be responsible for spearheading sales drives, meeting targets, and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve exceptional results.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets.

  • Direct Sales Engagement: Engage in direct sales activities, including prospecting, meeting clients, negotiating, and closing deals. Build and maintain relationships with key clients.

  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to perform at their highest level. Set clear expectations and provide regular coaching and feedback to ensure team success.

  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance. Track individual and team metrics, and identify areas for improvement. Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.

  • Sales Training: Lead ongoing training initiatives to ensure the sales team is equipped with the latest sales techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends.

  • Promote Sales Campaigns: Drive promotional activities, special offers, and campaigns to increase customer engagement and boost sales performance. Ensure the team is well-versed in all campaign details.

  • Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and product launches. Provide feedback to marketing on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions. Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting of sales activities.

  • Budget and Resource Allocation: Work within set sales budgets. Allocate resources effectively to ensure maximum sales impact while staying within financial parameters.

  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, results, and forecasts to upper management.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and actionable insights.

  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve customer issues or complaints swiftly and professionally to maintain strong customer satisfaction and loyalty.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5+ years of experience in direct sales with a proven track record of meeting or

  • exceeding sales targets. Experience in managing a sales team is required.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to success. Previous experience in team development and performance management is a must.

  • Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of sales techniques and processes, with the ability to mentor others in best practices for closing deals and building long-lasting client relationships.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and sales proposals clearly and persuasively.

  • Goal-Oriented: Highly motivated, target-driven, and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome obstacles and turn challenges into opportunities.

  • Customer-Focused: A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions.

  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM softwares and other sales tools. Comfort with data analysis and reporting tools to track and measure sales performance.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).


Desired Skills:

  • Previous experience in [industry-specific sales] is a plus.

  • Experience in driving digital sales or online sales campaigns is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical skills to assess data and optimize sales strategies.
