Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous lab technician who will be responsible for supporting our laboratory staff with the primary goal of optimizing lab procedures and succeeding in producing reliable test results.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and prepare agricultural samples for testing, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain sample integrity.

• Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses, and report accurate test results to the Laboratory Manager and clients.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to laboratory hygiene and safety regulations.

• Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure efficient operations and high service standards for clients

Qualification and Experience: 

• Minimum HND in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field, with 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in agricultural or food testing.

• Basic knowledge of microbiology and testing methods for agricultural products.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data management and report preparation.
