JOB DESCRIPTION:
A research firm is seeking to recruit highly motivated, experienced and result-driven individuals to join their sales team as Client Acquisition Consultant (CAC). Their research works have clients in Ghana and across the globe, where they provide independent business, market and academic research by ensuring the integrity and credibility of clients’ information. Your role as a Client Acquisition Consultant will involve providing frontline sales service to clients and ensuring onboarding and education on available services.
Your main responsibilities are to;
Engage New–to–Serve (NTS) potential and prospective clients via direct selling to the target segment, leads sourced from Alliances and senior managers with all business and academic research services
Ascertain the full requirement and service expectation of NTS clients acquired before handing over clients to the assigned Project Manager
Professionally manage client relationships and build productive, long-lasting relationships to encourage repeated projects and referrals
Forecast sales, develop and implement “out of the box” sales strategies/models and constantly evaluate their effectiveness
Maintain and expand the client database within your assigned territory
Give sales presentations to a range of prospective NTS clients
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Proven work experience as a sales or marketing representative
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the abilities and responsibilities specified.
Must love sales and business development-related roles
Should have an ambition to become a sales/business development professional
Proficient Computer User with the ability to use basic productivity software
Must be a people person, confident, critical thinker, and pay attention to details
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
A fast learner, full of energy and with good communication/public speaking skills * Knowledge of Business and Academic research will be an added advantage REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Excellent Computer and Internet Skills with the ability to complete secretarial procedures, such as formatting, word processing and creating spreadsheets.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and driven
Critical thinker and pays attention to details.
Ability to work independently in the field
Must be highly organised with negotiation and superb interpersonal skills.
