Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute high-quality breakfast, brunch and lunch menus with a strong emphasis on continental cuisine.

  • Innovate and test new recipes to keep offerings fresh, seasonal, and aligned with customer preferences.

  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation across all menu items.

  • Supervise and train kitchen staff in preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Manage kitchen inventory, including sourcing ingredients and controlling food costs.

  • Collaborate with front-of-house and management teams to coordinate smooth service operations.

  • Monitor customer feedback and adapt menus and preparation methods accordingly.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment according to local health and safety regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Chef with a focus on breakfast, brunch, and continental cuisine.

  • Strong culinary background with formal training.

  • Demonstrated expertise in menu creation, recipe development, and food cost management.

  • Creative mind set with a passion for seasonal ingredients and culinary innovation.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety regulations.


Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in boutique cafés, hotels, or high-end brunch establishments.

  • Experience with vegetarian, vegan, or health-conscious menu development.

  • Understanding of dietary restrictions and allergen management.
