About Us:
We are a leading water utility company dedicated to providing clean, safe, and reliable water to communities across Ghana. As part of our commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking a proactive and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our fleet of service vehicles and water tankers.
Role Summary:
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all fleet operations to ensure optimal performance, safety, and cost-efficiency. This role plays a critical part in maintaining uninterrupted service delivery, especially in hard-to-reach or high-demand areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the company’s fleet, including water tankers, pickups, and utility vehicles.
Schedule and supervise routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
Track fuel usage and implement cost control measures.
Manage and coach drivers, ensuring compliance with safety and traffic regulations.
Plan efficient routes for water delivery and service calls.
Monitor vehicle usage, performance, and maintenance records.
Ensure all fleet assets are roadworthy, insured, and compliant with DVLA and NRSA regulations.
Investigate accidents, manage incident reports, and liaise with insurers where needed.
Provide regular reports to management on fleet status, performance, and operational costs.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fleet or transport management, preferably within utilities, logistics, or construction sectors.
Strong understanding of Ghana’s road and safety regulations.
Proficiency in fleet tracking tools and MS Office Suite.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Valid Ghanaian driver’s license (Class B or above) is an advantage.
