Job Summary
A Multinational Financial Institution seeks the services of a Banking Operations Coordinator for their Head Office in Accra. Assist Banking Operations Manager to oversee banking operation processes across the business and adherence to operational manual amongst other policies.

Job Description/Requirements
General Description:
Business Development
Develop specific strategies to support business growth objectives.
Responsible for assisting the Banking Operations Manager on all branch operational issues by ensuring compliance to processes and procedures.
Responsible for the execution of the company's account manual and all related Policies of the Banking Operations Division
Perform other ad-hoc business development task assigned by Supervisor,
Non -Cash Operations Management
Responsible for daily and monthly reconciliations of all back-office transactions (CASA, IVEST, CHEQUES, INSURANCE, INTERNAL ACCOUNTS, FEES, USSD, MOBISAVE, F NDS TRANSFER, INSURANCE AND MOBILE MONEY)
Ensure frontline staff are complying with standard operating processes and policies.
Responsible for all effective execution of all funds transfer (Internal and external)
Regular branch visits to ensure compliance with SOPs and provide support.
Assist Banking Operations Manager on all staff training.
Ensure strict adherence to cash management.
Provide system support to branches and team.
Responsible for reconciliation of all internal accounts.
Responsible for customers account management in MIP and dormant accounts
Ensure branch operations supervisors adheres to daily CCTV monitoring reports and branch opening and closing procedures
Responsible for the management of all Izwe cheque books.
Responsible for Izwe cheque clearing (Inward and Outward).
Responsible for all transfers and payments for Izwe clients.
Responsible for the management of branch operations supervisor on all non-sales related tasks in the branch
Customer care and Relationship Management
Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure that workflows, processes, structures, and set-up in the banking halls support efficient service delivery.
Monitor service delivery levels to ensure a consistent match between actual service delivery and agreed institutional standards.
Lead and develop a strong sense of client orientation amongst all staff.
Ensure the effective implementation of service recovery initiatives to ensure that client complaints are effectively addressed.
Compliance, Security and Control
Comply with relevant institutional policies, processes, and procedures.
Be well informed to implement policies, processes, and procedures of the Institution.
Ensure full implementation of all recommendations of audit, compliance, and other management reports.
Full adherence to KYC requirements for all accounts opening
Assist the banking operation manager on all regulatory reports timely.
Qualification:
A Bachelors ‘Degree is recommended Business Administration or related Field.
Master’s Degree /Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Technical:
Branch Operations experience at a bank or Savings and Loans with a minimum of 5 years' Experience is essential.
Relevant customer service industry experience.
Relevant knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in the financial industry.
Good knowledge of MS Office suite of programs.
