The services of an Event Grounds Manager is needed for immediate employment.

  • Minimum Qualification : Diploma

  • Experience Level : Mid level

  • Experience Length : 3 years


Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Maintaining landscaping, gardens, and grounds.

  • Supervising grounds staff.

  • Coordinating equipment maintenance and repairs.

  • Managing waste disposal and recycling.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols.


Maintenance:

  • Performing routine inspections.

  • Scheduling repairs and maintenance including routine maintenance

  • Managing pest control.

  • Conducting seasonal preparations.


Horticulture:

  • Designing and implementing landscaping projects.

  • Selecting and purchasing plants and materials.

  • Ensuring plant health and disease management.


Event Support:

  • Coordinating event setup and teardown.

  • Providing event logistics support.

  • Ensuring grounds are event-ready.


Safety and Security:

  • Ensuring grounds safety and security.

  • Responding to emergencies.

  • Conducting risk assessments.


Sustainability:

  • Implementing environmentally friendly practices.

  • Reducing energy consumption and waste.

  • Promoting sustainable grounds management


Requirements:

  • A MALE will be preferable

  • Resident in Kumasi preferably Ahodwo and environs

  • Qualifications: HND or degree in facilities Management or similar discipline

Location: Kumasi

Salary Range: Ghc 1500.00 - Ghc 2000.00

Employment Type: Full Time
