Job Description/Requirements

Qualifications

. A Degree in Biological Science,Biochemistry Chemistry, or Health related degree from a recognized university

. A minimum of two years post qualification experience and knowledge in product detailing.

. Additional experience and exposure of the Pharmaceutical industry is required

Key Responsibilities

Medical Marketing representatives are a key link between pharmaceutical companies and healthcare professionals.

. Work strategically to increase the awareness and use of a company's pharmaceutical and medical products in institutions and hospitals.

. Make presentations and organize group events for healthcare professionals, as well as working with contacts on a one-to-one basis.

. Monitoring competitor activity and competitors products.

. Work with Area Sales Team / discuss future targets with the Area Sales Manager create effective business plans for making sales in a particular area.

. Develop strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and healthcare sector

. Ensure product availability and effective distribution / supply

Skills and Competencies

. Be self motivated to develop strategic plans for detailing - have exceptional written and verbal communication skills

. Exhibit analytical and team building skills

. must be willing to travel within the country
